So... the time has finally come... and as I'm sitting here in the hotel wondering what exactly I got myself into, I can't help but be a little excited. I will be in Ethiopia with the Peace Corps for the next 27 months. We fly out tomorrow... I know I'll enjoy every second of the 15 hour plane ride. My official job title is HIV/AIDS Community Capacity Building... and no matter how many times I read the job description I still don't know exactly what it means! When I figure it out I will let you know! The first 10 weeks I will be in training in Ambo, which is about an hour and a half from Addis Ababa, the capitol. At the end we will find out where our assigned post is and we will disperse from there. My mailing address... because I know you will all love writing to me. :-)
